Twin Disc marine gears have the reputation of being strong and reliable and will give a lifetime of faultless operation. They encompass a range of marine gears from 35bhp (26kw) to 3431bhp (2559kw), in either shallow case, deep case, drop centre, co-axial, integral vee and remote vee configurations with options that include live and hydraulic power take offs, manual or electric gear selectors, cooler options and various input and output coupling options. Twin Disc offers more than 30 different marine transmission models in a variety of configurations ranging from 35 to 2600 HP.

From the smallest to the largest high-speed diesel-powered pleasure craft to a myriad of commercial boat applications, Twin Disc has marine transmission systems that precisely fit the horsepower and operating needs of each. Twin Disc's standard marine transmissions feature helical gearing for quieter operation; hydraulic-operated and oil-cooled clutches for smooth, fast shifting; identical reduction ratios in forward and reverse, full power forward and reverse and minimal external plumbing.
